WALOMO has been dressing the brands since 1984.

We design and manufacture collections of image & promotional clothing, produce the emblematic signage and distribute personalized sports balls for 40 years. 

 

Why these 3 trades?

Initially specialized in sports equipment, WALOMO moved in 1990 towards promotional clothing by relying on loyal and successful dealers. 

Today, WALOMO designs and produces collections of innovative, technical and easy to customize clothing. In signage, WALOMO invests in R&D to design unique media with powerful visual impact. Our goal is simple: to give companies a visual signature through a clothing collection and a harmonious signage.

1984-2024 : 40 years, the age of Reason. 

 

WALOMO has just blown his 40 candles. If this type of date often offers the opportunity to look in the mirror, to realize the path taken, it is towards the future that all our teams decide to turn. 

This future, which we are building together with you, dear customers, carries the colors of relocation. 

This future, as you have understood, is outlined in blue, white and red. 

 

This will, this choice, is that of reason. 


This reason that drives us to continue in the direction we have been following for 5 years now and the creation in 2019 of our POS and Signage printing and manufacturing workshop in St-Maximin (Oise). 

This same reason that drives us to value the know-how of our couturiers and our textile operators who every day materialize this fierce desire to materialize our values around our textile brand made in France «Les Filosophes», launched in 2021 and is growing. 

Finally, this reason that encourages us to maintain our efforts and investments to expand and modernize regularly our machine fleet in order to increase our production rates and respond more and more effectively to the needs of our market, whether in terms of stock or reactivity. 

 

These choices are a source of pride. 

 

To be the spearhead of reindustrialization and the upgrading of our production tools. The same desire to support you in your most ambitious projects, you who share with us this same desire to accompany your customers towards more phased solutions with the environmental challenges that we face.

Our history

Walomo’s story begins in 1984 when two long-time friends, field mates, fervent defenders of male ovality, pitches in the eyes and cathedral placings, decide to bond and enter the great mix of entrepreneurship. Indefatigable rugby players, Thierry Del Olmo and Frédéric Wahnich are just as much when they launch their first line of sports clothing for the rugby clubs in the Paris region. In parallel, Walomo offers a washing service for the old school rugby jerseys which, after a good winter game, become heavy mud-soaked cloth armor as unwashable.

1989  

In 1989, Walomo specializes in promotional balls. The 1998 World Cup is coming up fast and we want to anticipate. Fortunately, marking techniques are becoming more common. Walomo then becomes one of the precursors in tampography thanks to the artistic fiber of Thierry, who is more comfortable with a brush than a pen at the time. Like the national team, Walomo is on every stage: a stand in the new Stade de France, 2 million balls sold and Alain Chabat wearing a jersey and gloves Walomo during the filming of the mythical film Didier.

2000  

The early 2000s were marked by an intensification of travel in Asia. The Chinese eldorado is starting to show its face and there is no question of letting the train pass. Thierry and Fred therefore board these Chinese planes, not really approved, to discover a country from which they will return in amazement. Walomo opens its first office in China. This office will allow them to create automatisms with a country as huge as it is powerful. They have made for the first time, LA parka that will make the JT, regattas, weekends at sea and in the mountains: the Nordik.  For 15 years, the Nordik has never left the Walomo catalogue and its success is not wavering: we recently reached the 500,000 parkas sold !

2007

In 2007, Walomo uses its expertise in textile marking to develop a first POS range. It’s the revelation: a unique profession that allows Walomo to establish its quality as an expert in 3 different professions : textile, football and now POP.

2010

In 2005, the softshell was introduced and we were among the first to offer this innovative material. In 2010, we support the technical innovation of our products with running clothing. Two years later, Walomo dresses the 27,000 participants in a 10-km trip to Paris.  Today, Walomo remembers its past, the one that forged it, the one that proves the loyalty of its structure to its customers by ensuring impeccable service and quality products. 

2016

In 2016, the references that have made our reputation are still relevant, but they are now supported by new products that bring technical, modern and colorful looks, innovative cuts and materials of first choice. Our priority is always to offer our customers articles that perfectly meet the constraints of our business, while showing originality. For more than 30 years, we have been striving to innovate and our story is just beginning with a 2016 that starts strong, very strong:

  • New trendy down jackets and windbreakers
  • New range of inflatable POS
  • New balls to encourage - we hope - the victory of the team of France !

2019

In 2019, WALOMO opens its digital printing workshop in the Oise. Equipped with a new generation of machines, the WALOMO workshop prints, cuts and sews the wrapping of signage media stored in its warehouses to deliver advertisers in record time while guaranteeing impeccable quality and reactivity. The objective: relocate all of its production in France, reindustrialise the Oise region on a scale and decarbonise its production for more virtuous advertising in social and environmental terms.

In parallel, WALOMO developed a hybrid clothing collection, bringing together two well-known technologies from the world of image clothing: quilting and softshell. The COLORADO & the VERMONT, leading figures of this hybrid trend, become in a very short time the best-sellers of the textile range WALOMO.
