Initially specialized in sports equipment, WALOMO moved in 1990 towards promotional clothing by relying on loyal and successful dealers.
Today, WALOMO designs and produces collections of innovative, technical and easy to customize clothing. In signage, WALOMO invests in R&D to design unique media with powerful visual impact. Our goal is simple: to give companies a visual signature through a clothing collection and a harmonious signage.

The reason that drives us to continue in the direction we have been following for 5 years now and the creation in 2019 of our printing and POS display & signage manufacturing workshop in St-Maximin (Oise).
That same reason that drives us to champion the expertise of our teams and to keep our French-made textile brand "Les Filosophes", launched in 2021, alive and thriving.
And finally, the reason that encourages us to continuously modernize our tools to efficiently meet the demands of the market.

This same reason that drives us to value the know-how of our couturiers and our textile operators who every day materialize this fierce desire to materialize our values around our textile brand made in France «Les Filosophes», launched in 2021 and is growing.
Finally, this reason that encourages us to maintain our efforts and investments to expand and modernize regularly our machine fleet in order to increase our production rates and respond more and more effectively to the needs of our market, whether in terms of stock or reactivity.

Our story
The story of Walomo begins in 1984 when two lifelong friends, teammates on the pitch, passionate advocates of hard-fought rugby, eyes-over-the-ball defence and thunderous tackles, decided to join forces and dive into the great scrum of entrepreneurship. Tireless rugby players, Thierry Del Olmo and Frédéric Wahnic brought that same relentless drive when they launched their first line of sportswear aimed at rugby clubs in the Paris region. At the same time, Walomo offered a washing service for old-school rugby jerseys which, after a good winter match, would become mud-soaked fabric armour — as heavy as they were impossible to clean.
Our history
Walomo’s story begins in 1984 when two long-time friends, field mates, fervent defenders of male ovality, pitches in the eyes and cathedral placings, decide to bond and enter the great mix of entrepreneurship. Indefatigable rugby players, Thierry Del Olmo and Frédéric Wahnich are just as much when they launch their first line of sports clothing for the rugby clubs in the Paris region. In parallel, Walomo offers a washing service for the old school rugby jerseys which, after a good winter game, become heavy mud-soaked cloth armor as unwashable.


1989
In 1989, Walomo specialised in promotional balls. The 1998 World Cup was fast approaching and they wanted to get ahead of the game. Fortunately, marking techniques were becoming increasingly widespread. Walomo then became one of the pioneers in pad printing, thanks to Thierry's artistic flair — who was more at home with a paintbrush than a pen at the time. Much like the national team, Walomo found itself in the spotlight: a stand in the heart of the brand-new Stade de France, 2 million balls sold, and Alain Chabat wearing a Walomo jersey and gloves during the filming of the iconic movie Didier.
1989
In 1989, Walomo specializes in promotional balls. The 1998 World Cup is coming up fast and we want to anticipate. Fortunately, marking techniques are becoming more common. Walomo then becomes one of the precursors in tampography thanks to the artistic fiber of Thierry, who is more comfortable with a brush than a pen at the time. Like the national team, Walomo is on every stage: a stand in the new Stade de France, 2 million balls sold and Alain Chabat wearing a jersey and gloves Walomo during the filming of the mythical film Didier.

2000
The early 2000s were marked by an intensification of trips to Asia. The Chinese eldorado was beginning to make itself known and there was no question of missing the boat. Thierry and Fred therefore boarded those China-bound planes, to discover a country they would return from in awe.
Walomo then opened its first offices in China. This office would allow them to build strong ties with a country as vast as it is powerful. It was there that they had manufactured for the first time, THE parka that would make headlines on the evening news, at regattas, on seaside weekends and mountain getaways: the Nordik.
For 15 years, the Nordik has never left the Walomo catalog and its success shows no sign of slowing: we recently reached the milestone of 500,000 parkas sold!
2000
The early 2000s were marked by an intensification of travel in Asia. The Chinese eldorado is starting to show its face and there is no question of letting the train pass. Thierry and Fred therefore board these Chinese planes, not really approved, to discover a country from which they will return in amazement. Walomo opens its first office in China. This office will allow them to create automatisms with a country as huge as it is powerful. They have made for the first time, LA parka that will make the JT, regattas, weekends at sea and in the mountains: the Nordik. For 15 years, the Nordik has never left the Walomo catalogue and its success is not wavering: we recently reached the 500,000 parkas sold !

2007
In 2007, Walomo drew on its expertise in textile marking to develop its first POS display range. It was a revelation: a unique trade that allowed Walomo to cement its position as an expert across 3 distinct fields: textile, balls and now POS displays.

2010
In 2005, the softshell made its appearance and we were among the first to offer this innovative material. In 2010, we reinforced the technical innovation of our products with running apparel. 2 years later, Walomo dressed the 27,000 participants of the Paris 10km race. Today, Walomo looks back on its past — the one that shaped it, the one that proves its unwavering loyalty to its clients by delivering flawless service and quality products.
2010
In 2005, the softshell was introduced and we were among the first to offer this innovative material. In 2010, we support the technical innovation of our products with running clothing. Two years later, Walomo dresses the 27,000 participants in a 10-km trip to Paris. Today, Walomo remembers its past, the one that forged it, the one that proves the loyalty of its structure to its customers by ensuring impeccable service and quality products.
2015
From 2015 to 2025, our logo accompanied an intense, human and creative decade. Ten years during which WALOMO grew, evolved, asserted its expertise and strengthened its bonds with its clients, partners and teams. Ten years also marked by bold projects driven by relocation, challenges met and successes shared...


2016
In 2016, the references that have made our reputation are still relevant, but they are now supported by new products that bring technical, modern and colorful looks, innovative cuts and materials of first choice. Our priority is always to offer our customers articles that perfectly meet the constraints of our business, while showing originality. For more than 30 years, we have been striving to innovate and our story is just beginning with a 2016 that starts strong, very strong:

For over 30 years, we have strived to innovate — and our story is only just beginning, with a 2016 that is off to a strong, very strong start!




2019
In 2019, WALOMO inaugurated its digital printing workshop in the Oise region. Equipped with a fleet of next-generation machines, the WALOMO workshop prints, cuts and sews the coverings for signage displays stored in its warehouses, delivering to clients in record time while guaranteeing flawless quality and responsiveness. The goal: to relocate all of its production back to France, reindustrialise the Oise region at its own scale, and decarbonise its production for more responsible advertising across both social and environmental dimensions. At the same time, WALOMO developed a hybrid clothing collection, bringing together two well-known technologies from the world of image apparel: quilting and softshell. The COLORADO & the VERMONT, figureheads of this hybrid trend, became best-sellers in the WALOMO textile range in no time at all.






2019
In 2019, WALOMO opens its digital printing workshop in the Oise. Equipped with a new generation of machines, the WALOMO workshop prints, cuts and sews the wrapping of signage media stored in its warehouses to deliver advertisers in record time while guaranteeing impeccable quality and reactivity. The objective: relocate all of its production in France, reindustrialise the Oise region on a scale and decarbonise its production for more virtuous advertising in social and environmental terms.
In parallel, WALOMO developed a hybrid clothing collection, bringing together two well-known technologies from the world of image clothing: quilting and softshell. The COLORADO & the VERMONT, leading figures of this hybrid trend, become in a very short time the best-sellers of the textile range WALOMO.
2026
2026 marks a true turning point: the official takeover of the company founded in 1984 by Frédéric Wahnich and Thierry Del Olmo. A family story born in Créteil, on a rugby pitch, carried for forty years by the passion, the commitment and the loyalty of a dedicated team. This year symbolises a handover, but above all a continuity: the founders remain the pillars of the house, they are simply passing the keys of the WALOMO ship to Simon Wahnich.
